End of season and passage of Duan

June 28, 2021

Dear all,

The end of the season is coming and it is with great joy that I announce you this good news: Camille, Marie-Odile and Etienne have passed the 1st Duan this Sunday, June 27th, which is the 1st grade of Tai Chi Chuan awarded by our federation.

Bravo Camille, bravo Marie-Odile and bravo Etienne for your perseverance, your sincere commitment and also thank you Emmanuelle for having accepted to be Etienne's partner.

In the tormented situation of these months of Covid, it is a ray of sunshine to know that despite the governmental decisions to close sports halls and parks throughout 2020/2021, the classes continued on Zoom and you came in great numbers!

Some students came to practice up to 7 hours a week on Zoom. You have responded and you have continued to progress together, it is a real gift for me as a teacher to have continued to teach Tai Chi Chuan and meditation, to have accompanied you in your progression each at your own pace as if we were in private lessons. Some of you have started on Zoom, and others have prepared the Duan, congratulations to all of you!

We will break out the champagne on Saturday 3rd July during the end of year picnic, to celebrate the 1st Duan and also to celebrate the progress of all!

Thank you for your solidarity, your enthusiasm, your regularity, your seriousness, it is precious.

This week is our last week of practice for the 2020/2021 season, so remember to book your Saturday 3rd July for our big picnic from 10am to 2pm in the Parc des Bruyères. Everyone brings a dish or a drink to share.

See you soon!

Corinne
