  • MINDFULNESS MEDITATION WORKSHOPS

    from 2022, September 22th to 2023, June 29th

    Flexible clothing, sweater, socks and plaid are recommended.
    You will find chairs, cushions and rugs at the Powerspot.

    Mindfulness meditation is secular.

     

    The workshops bring together beginners and those who already have a practice of mindfulness.

    Practice sessions offered comprise sitting on a chair or a cushion, or walking, or body scan lying down or guided yoga.

     

    This discipline develops self-confidence, inquisitiveness, concentration and non-judgement. The objective is to be in the present moment, to fix our attention on bodily sensations, breathing, thoughts, emotions and the soundscape.

    This attention deliberately focused on oneself is a fertile ground for cultivating one’s capacity to calm one’s mind and relax one’s body.

     

    For more than 30 years, the scientific community has increased the publication of works on the benefits of meditation to health.
